Susan "Sue" Joyce Steinhagen

Susan “Sue” Joyce Steinhagen, 71, Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, in her home. She was the daughter of Harold and Rose (Castellese) Reichwein. She was a 1962 graduate of Rockford Bishop Muldoon High School. Sue was the owner of East Gateway Cleaners on Broadway for many years. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed caring for her beautiful yard.
Survived by her son, Tom (Monica) Steinhagen of Rockford; her daughter, Andrea (Roger) Dean of Metamora; her grandchildren, Brianna, Geoffrey, and Isabelle; her great-grandson, Jayden; her sister-in-law, Shirley Reichwein; her aunt, JoAnn Olsen; and her four-legged companion and partner in crime, Molly. Predeceased by her parents and her brother, Robert Reichwein.
There will be a visitation from 2:00 P.M until 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford.
