TERRY SCHWIESOW, 67
ROCKFORD - Terry Schwiesow, 67, passed away Thursday, April, 2, 2015,at Presence Saint Anne Center. Born February 7, 1948, in Mitchell, SD, the son of Martin and Leona (Schoenfelder) Schwiesow. Served in the US Air force during the Vietnam era. He received his BA from Rockford University. He married Christina Kinney, in Rockford, IL on October 12, 1974. Terry worked as a Production Control Manager for Concentric, retiring in 2012, after 40 years. Terry enjoyed golfing and gardening. He was an avid sports fan, supporting his favorite Chicago teams the Bulls, Bears and the White Sox. Terry was a supporter of the Disabled American Veterans Charity. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and his grand-dog, Arya. Survivors include his beloved wife, Christina; daughters, Teresa (Brian) Schellbach and Stacey (Frank Swanson) Schwiesow; brother, Roger (Bonnie) Schwiesow; and grandson, Lucas Swanson. He is preceded in death by parents. Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 8th, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, with the Rev. Andrew Gates officiating. Visitations Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., and 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
