Theresa V. Ross

Theresa V. Ross (Wiencek), born February 23, 1929, one of 11 children, in Chicago, IL, died peacefully at home in Canton, GA November 25th, 2015. She was a loving wife and “forever bride” to Edward (deceased).
Mom’s career started with Illinois Bell as a switchboard operator then advancing to supervisor. Soon after that she found the loving arms of her husband Edward. This began a life filled with raising a family with her love and passion for family values. She was a caring and loving mother of her 5 children and 12 grandchildren. Her compassion and selfless love flowed over to her daughters and sons in laws, and everyone she knew.
Later in life, mom became a business woman, and advanced in her career to become a Vice-President of a major Chicago financial institution. She was caring and compassionate with her customers and co-workers, and still found time to take care of her family and the love of her life, Edward.
Edward and his “forever bride” Theresa were married in true love for over 64 years. They fell deeper in love with each passing day until dad’s death in December 2014. This was all part of the book of love they wrote together with a lifetime of joy and happiness. Now missing the touch of his hand, their souls and endless love are forever back together.
Theresa is survived by her children, Joseph Ross (MaryJo), Maria Scholze (John), Patricia Ross (Mike Kelly), Ann Walther (George), Paul Ross (Sandy), twelve grandchildren, and mom’s faithful furry companions Bruno, Ranger & Chloe.
Mom will be with us forever in our hearts.

Funeral Mass 10 am Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church 4401 Highcrest Road. With Father David Beauvais officiating. Burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery Winnebago, IL. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (Mulford Chapel) 1860 S. Mulford Road.
