Therese M. Jaeger

Therese M. Jaeger, 83 of Rockford, died Friday, May 7, 2010 in her home. Born July 17, 1926 in Schenectady, NY., daughter of Henry O. and Marguerite (Greeley) Kress, Sr. Attended St. Anthony for Nursing and graduated with her RN. Married her loving husband, Donald Jaeger on July 17, 1951. Therese enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing the piano and singing. She and Donald have been members of Rock Church for four years. She dedicated her life that her children and childrens children would come to know Jesus her savior. Survivors include her husband of 58 years Donald; children, Donna (Gene) Addy of Rockford, Timothy (Lynn) of CT, Mark (Gwen) of OH, Ellen (David Hollandsworth) Jaeger of IN, Matthew of CA and Mary Haws of Rockford; grandchildren, Brandy (Jason )Lathrop, Rebecca Bushaw, Jeremiah (Fianca© Angie Past) Addy, Christine Jaeger, Jacob Haws, Joshua Haws, Alicia (Danny) Haws, Annmarie (Rex) Haws, Erin Jaeger, Sara Jaeger and Reed Jaeger; great grandchildren, Brandon, Addison, Kylie, Jordan, Caleb, Kaylin and Iziekial; sister, Anne Duchowny; brother, Henry O. (Alice) Kress, Jr.; sister-in-law, JoAnn Kress and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, her son, Todd Jaeger and brothers Paul and David Kress. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to OSF Hospice, Rock Church and all her friends for the wonderful support and guidance. Memorial Service Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Rock Church 6732 Harrison Avenue Rockford, IL 61108, with Pastor John Sprecher officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name to Rock Church. Fitzgerald Funeral Home assisted the family.
