Timothy Gallagher

Timothy G. Gallagher, 66, Rockford, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 20, 1946; the son of Norwood and Helenora (Bittner) Gallagher. He served his county in the US Air Force from 1965 until his honorable discharge in 1969. Tim attended Cleveland State University and graduated with a degree in Business. He married Ruth Thiltgen on October 24, 1981. Tim held various retail sales positions throughout his career. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Erin Gallagher and sister, Cheryl (Alan) Ogilbee; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and brother, Patrick Gallagher. The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff at Rockford Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family for establishment to be named at a later date. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860, S. Mulford Rd. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
