Timothy J. Condon, Sr.

Timothy J. Condon Sr., 68, of Loves Park died Christmas Day in his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born July 28, 1941, in Rockford, to the late Leonard and Miriam Condon. Graduated from St. Thomas High School in Rockford in 1959 before graduating from the University of Notre Dame and earning his law degree from the University of Wisconsin. A devoted family man, dedicated attorney and an avid Fighting Irish football and White Sox fan. Survived by wife, Linda; sons, Timothy Jr. (Mary) of Prospect, Ky., Terrence (Joanna) of Danville, Calif. and Michael (Sarah) of Redmond, Wash.; stepchildren, Todd (Kathy) Johnson and Tadd (Tracy) Johnson, both of Davis Junction, Troy Johnson and Kim Johnson, both of Stillman Valley, and Holly (Nick) Bartholomew of Byron; brother, Leonard (Judith) of Rockford; grandchildren, Patrick, Carl, Matthew, Kelly, Madison, Kaitlyn, Austin and Nathan Condon; step-grandchildren Martin, Ronnie, Tyler, Teagan, Taylor, Brynn, Elle, Alyssa, Sydney and Bailey Johnson and Becca, Katie and Nick Druin; step great-grandchild Madison Johnson.



Memorial Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108. Private burial in St. Mary/St. James Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
