Victoria L. Deporter, 83, a lifelong resident of Rockford, died on September 20, 2007 in her family home in South Beloit.nbsp; Victoria was born on February 17, 1924 in Madison, Wisconsin the daughter of Vito and Virginia (Fabian) Mandella.nbsp; Victoria Married Wallace J. DePorter in Rockford on July 21, 1946. nbsp; Victoria had worked at the Rockford Clinic for 15 years until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church, former member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, St. Anthony Hospital Auxiliary and St. Anthony Womens Catholic Order of Forresters.nbsp; Victoria loved cooking, shopping, sewing and was an avid bridge player. nbsp; Victoria is survived by her husband, Wallace J. DePorter; her children, David DePorter, Vita (Javon) Bea, Mark (Jennifer) DePorter and Gina (Jose) Valdez; her grandchildren Kristen Trieloff, Michelle Anderson, Melissa, Eric and Hunter DePorter, Rebecca Remick, Maria Neuner, Joanna, Theresa and Javon Bea, Angela, Garrett and Madeline DePorter and Joseph and Andrea LaLoggia; her great-grandchildren, Alex and Melissa Remick, Sophia and Ella Trieloff, Kaden LaLoggia and Miles Anderson; her sisters, Georgina LaLoggia-Caywood and Jo Ann Mandella and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.nbsp; Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, her infant son Wallace J., Jr.; her sisters Katherine Fair and Vita Mandella and her granddaughter Sara Bea. nbsp; Family and friends will meet at St. Bridget Catholic Church on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 9:45 a.m. for a Memorial Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. with Rev. Msgr. John J. Mitchell officiating. nbsp;A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. from 4 p.m. 7 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m.nbsp;nbsp; Interment will be private.
