Vincenzo Gulotta, 95 of Rockford, died Wednesday, June 02, 2010 at River Bluff Nursing Home. Born, October 25, 1914 in Rockford, son of Pietro and Nicolina (Ruvolo) Gulotta. Married his loving wife Felicia Miceli on January 18, 1938. Worked over 20 years for Rockford Screw Products as a machinist. He is a faithful member of St. Rita Catholic Church and was a member of the former St. Marys Club on S. Main. Vincenzo enjoyed gardening and cooking. He was a wonderful, kind and caring man who truly enjoyed his family and they enjoyed and loved him dearly. He was the best grandfather anyone could have and he will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife Felicia Gulotta of Rockford; sons, Peter (Filomena) Gulotta of Rockford and Frank Gulotta of Rockford; grandchildren, Felicia Gulotta and Vince (Anne) Gulotta; great grandchildren, Zack and Bianca Pearson and Dominic Gulotta; 2 brothers and 1 sister. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff on Blue Jay wing at River Bluff especially LaVerne, Thim and Chaquita and to Heartland Hospice.

Funeral Mass Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Drive. Visitation Saturday from 10:00 until time of Mass in church.
