Violet L. Stevens, 90 Rockford Violet L. Stevens, 90 of Rockford, died Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. in PA Peterson Center for Health. Born September 18, 1919 in Rockford, IL to Joseph and Stella (Chrvnsky) Zolenas. Life long resident of Rockford, IL. Worked at Rockford Photo Service and Broadway Florist, where she combined her interest and hobbies. Violet served as a Winnebago County election judge and a volunteer at Tinker Cottage serving as treasurer for many years. Survivors; Son, Van (Sherry) Stevens; Step-grandchildren, Kenneth Hendricks of Victoria, TX and Kevin Hendricks of Keller, TX; Nephew, Jim Mock. Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory ( Riverside Chapel) 3910 N. Rockton Ave., with Father Matthew T. Rudden officiating. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
