Walter G. Pilbin, 83 of Sun City, Arizona and formerly of Rockford, died on Saturday, April 28, 2007. Born September 27, 1923 in Hardrick, Vermont, the son of Wilda and Gertrude (Marshall) Pilbin. Walter was a United States Veteran serving in the Air Force during WWII. Married his loving wife of 60 years Betty Vogen in Rockford on July 5, 1947. He worked for Barber Colman and Amerock as a welder retiring in 1986. Walter and Betty lived in Rockford for over 40 years before moving to Arizona. Memberships include the VFW Post 7789 of Glendale, AZ and 73rd Wing Association. Survivors include his wife Betty of AZ; daughter Lucy (Leonard) Adringnola of Roscoe; sons, Larry (Marcia) of Corpus Christi, TX, Lane (Mary) of Cheyenne, WY , Lynn (Suzanne) of nbsp;Peoria, AZ nbsp;and nbsp;7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. nbsp;He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters. nbsp; Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Rev. Dr. William R. Kerr, Sr. officiating. Interment in Willwood Burial Park.
