Warren Paul Fox

Warren Paul Fox, 86 of Rockford died Sunday, September 9, 2012 at home surrounded by his family.
Born October 3, 1925 in Rockford, Illinois to Paul amp; Mable (Johnson) Fox. Served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Married Ida Mae Kint the love of his life on December 14, 1952 at Cherry Valley United Methodist Church. Warren and Ida farmed in the Marengo area for 13 years before moving to Rockford. Warren worked for the Chrysler Company retiring in 1991. Member of the Moose Club, UAW Retirees, Belvidere VFW, Warren loved to travel and made it to all 50 states, play golf, attend parades, dancing, crosswords and games. Warren was an avid reader and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors; Wife, Ida Mae; Children, Pam (Mike) Westerman of Peoria, IL.; Steve (Billy) Fox of Rockford, IL and Rob (Vickie) Fox of Radford, VA; Grandchildren; Jen (Steve) Bishop, Ben (Jessi) Westerman, Lindsay (Joe) Schuh, Whitney (Ricky) Tockes, Melissa (Rashad) Cross, Jason Fox, Ashlee (Nick) Migliore, Austin and Alex Fox; 10 greatgrandchildren; 3 brothers, Dale (Mary) Fox of Belvidere; Clayton (Brigitte) Fox of Mountain View, CA. and David (Kay) Fox of Rockford; <Numerous Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by his parents and daughter Sandra.

Memorial Service 3 p.m. Saturday at Cherry Valley United Methodist Church 112 S. Cherry St. Cherry Valley , Il 61016 with Pastor Monty Fox officiating.
Visitation from 1 p.m.
until the time of service Saturday at church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cherry Valley United Methodist Church or Northern Illinois Hospice and Grief Center.
