William J. Mcdevitt

William J. McDevitt, 91 a life long resident of Rockford, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in his home. A WWII Veteran serving in the US Army and married his loving wife Olive "Kay" McDevitt. Worked 25 years as an electrician for Muller Pinehurst until his retirement. Survivors include his children, Jack, Bob (Marlene), Mike (Nancy), Kathy Letheby and Danny McDevitt; daughterinlaw, Maureen McDevitt; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Olive, parents, daughters, Mary Johnson and Patricia Thingvold, son, Bill McDevitt and his sisters. Funeral Mass Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to the family.
