William R. Goetz

William Bill Goetz 65 of Rockford passed away at 5pm Wednesday September 23, 2009 in his sisters home. He was born December 15, 1943 in Rockford. Son of William and Marion Goetz. Bill worked for NI Cor Gas for many years, retiring in 1999. He served in the Army Reserves. Graduated from West High School class of 1962. He was a member of St Stanislaus Church, Holy Name Society, White Eagles Club, St Ambrogia and the Shriners.

Bill is survived by his daughter; Andrea Goetz, Sister; Marie Hart, Close friends; John(Madaline) Hudzinski, Tina(Jeff)Hedberg, Carol Paris and entire Al-Mar Florist family. Special nephews and nieces; Tom Reynolds, Terri(Jay)Hallberg and Renee Macias. Great nieces and nephews; Justin, Jordan and Rebbekah Hallberg, and Allie Reynolds. Predeceased by Maternal Grandparents; Albert and Theresa Jurasek, Paternal Grandparents; Wilhelm and Marie Goetz, his parents and brother; Richard.

Funeral Mass at 11am Tuesday September 29, 2009 in St Stanislaus Church with Father Peter Sarnicki officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 4pm until 7pm Monday September 28 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. With Rosary to be recited at 7pm.
