Aaron Xavier Flores was born on November 12, 2004 and left this world at the tender age of 16 in Belvidere, IL where he resided. He graduated from St. James Elementary School and was a rising junior at Boylan Catholic High School in Rockford, IL.
At St. James he served as an altar boy and lecturer and sang in the church choir. He loved music, playing guitar and trumpet. Actively participating in the school band from fourth grade through eighth grade where he was selected to honors band in seventh and eighth grade. Achieving an extraordinary perfect score on his saxophone solo. He continued to play the alto saxophone at Boylan Catholic High School. He had an affinity to languages, speaking Spanish, French and was learning Italian. Demonstrating his creativity through drawings and had a passion for reading fiction books. His career goal was to become a pathologist. He was dedicated to all that he put his mind to.
He was full of life participating in various sports such as triathlons, swimming, boxing, ice-skating, dance, soccer and track & field among others. He was a student at World Champion Tae-kwon-do, demonstrating a high-level of perseverance and discipline which led him to obtain a 1st Dan Black Belt and placed 1st on various occasions in poomsae and board breaking tournaments. He enjoyed off-roading and snow-boarding in many places. He was an avid skateboarder, he loved to ride and very much enjoyed visiting skateboarding parks wherever he went.
Above all Aaron was a son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, friend and boyfriend. His gentle, kind heart demonstrated love to all that surrounded him. He was taken from this world too early, he will forever be in our hearts and minds. Aaron Xavier Flores was survived by his mother, Nancy Rebolledo and father, Xavier Flores and two young sisters of Belvidere, IL. Including maternal grandparents; paternal grandmother; aunts; uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather.
