Alice T. Labak

LABAK--(Kwiatkowski) Alice Terese, 79, of Rockford IL passed serenely at home surrounded by her family at 2:05 pm Sunday, April 30th 2017. She is finally at peace after a battle against cancer. She was born on Sept 27, 1937 in Chicago, the daughter of Charles and Rose Kwiatkowski (Lula) who preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by a Grandson (David) and brother (Charles) and her sister (Elaine) and survived by two brothers (Ralph and Daniel).
Married to Stanley S Labak in Chicago IL on May 12th, 1956, they enjoyed nearly 61 years of marriage. She was a beloved wife to Stanley, mother of six: Richard (Loni), Roseann, Phillip (Sharon), Suzanne (Rafael), Sandra (Michael) and Laureen (Norman), grandmother of 13, Great Grandmother of 10, and Great Great Grandmother of 3. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, former member of St Matthews in Glendale Heights and Good Shepard in Chicago.
Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Road, Rockford. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 South Mulford Road and will continue Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home.
