Alicia J. Goral

Alicia J. Goral, 71, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024, after a 9 month battle with cancer. She was born on November 6, 1952, in Rockford, the daughter of Roy and Lillyan Goral. Alicia earned her Masters Degree in Nursing from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She loved the opportunity to teach nursing classes at RVC. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. 

Alicia is survived by her brother, Tom; nephew, Andrew; and sister-in-law, Pat. She is predeceased by her parents, Roy and Lil; brother, Jack; nephew, Christopher; and sister-in-law, Kathy. 

The family would like to give a special thank you to Northern Illinois Hospice. 

A Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kosta Catholic Church, 201 Buckbee Street, Rockford, Illinois 61104. A visitation will be prior to mass starting at 9:00 a.m. at church. Intombment at Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northern Illinois Hospice and Poor Clares Monastery.
