Allison Derry

Allison Derry, 33, of Rockford died October 7, 2008 at Swedish American Hospital after a sudden illness. Born January 26, 1975. Ali attended Keith Country Day, was a graduate of Boylan High School and attended Rock Valley College. Married Gregory Derry on December 27, 1998. She is survived by her spouse, Gregory and her three beautiful daughters, Emma 9, Madeline, 4 and Reese, 2; her parents, Curt and Barbara Worden; sister, Stephanie Ritz of Beverly Hills, CA; brothers, Scott (Fatima) Worden of Santa Rosa, CA, Jeff Worden of Chicago, IL, Charles Ritz of Rockford, IL and her father, Ken Ritz. Also survived by her motherinlaw, Sheila Tondi; fatherinlaw, Mike (Beverly) Derry; brothers and sistersinlaw, Brad (Amy) Derry, Amy (Mitch)Trevey, Michael Patrick Derry, Jenny Derry, Matthew (fiance Tanja) Derry and numerous nieces and nephews. Our family is deeply grieving for our sunshine girl. Her love of her family was deep and caring. Her daughters were her life and joy and our hearts ache for them. Ali recently started volunteering at Maya House as she always had a special place in her heart for the care of children. She made her home a beautiful refuge and a place of joy for her family. Holidays were special for her and she always went above and beyond with decorations for every occasion. We wish you peace, dear Ali, we love you dearly and will think of you every day.
