Angeline A. Milani

Angeline A. Milani 92 of Rockford passed away Wednesday July 16, 2014 at Wesley Willows. She was born March 28, 1922 in Negaunee, Michigan, the daughter of Charles and Maria Peila. She graduated from Rockford Central High School, class of 1940. She married John L. "Bud" Milani in Rockford on November 18, 1944. John predeceased her on June 23, 1996. Angeline started her career at Camp Grant followed by Illinois Water Treatment. She worked most of her career at Singer Mental Health Center from where she retired. She was a long time Member of St. Patrick Church and the Giuseppe Verdi Ladies Auxiliary. She celebrated her Italian heritage. She loved cooking for her family, gardening, and doing crossword puzzles. Family was very important to Angeline, especially her love for her two grandchildren.
Survivors include her son; John M. (Cathy) Milani. Grandchildren; Nicole (Austin) Crull and Matthew Milani. Brother; Albert (Mary Lou) Peila. Predeceased by her parents, Husband John. Twin infant sons, infant daughter and brothers, Joseph and Armand Peila.
Funeral Mass at 11am Monday July 21, 2014 in St Bernadette Catholic Church. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitationfrom 9am until 10:45 Monday in the church. In lieu of flowers memorials to be established by the family. Express online condolences atwww.fitzgeraldfh.com
