Anna M. Pozzi

Anna M. (Ann) Pozzi, 73, of Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in her home. Born on March 23, 1935 in Galena, IL; daughter of Francis and Jeannette (Gassman) McGuire. Married Lawrence A. Pozzi in Rockford on November 17, 1955. Ann was a 1956 graduate of St. Anthony School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse at PA Peterson Nursing Home for many years. Was a longtime member of St. James Catholic Church and most recently she was attending St. Rita Catholic Church. Ann collected dolls and enjoyed her flower gardens. Survivors include her husband Larry; children, Mark Pozzi of Omaha, NE; Theresa (Rick) Thompson of Byron, IL, Mary (Rick) Seehaver of Rockford and Barbara Hamm of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Elizabeth Pozzi, Nicholas (fianca©, Abby Hilby) Thompson, Sarah Thompson, Jessica, Anna and Michael Seehaver; 2 brothers and a sister. Ann was predeceased by her parents.Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at St Rita Catholic Church with Matthew Camaioni officiating. Entombment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7p.m. with a rosary recited at 6:45p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2009 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL  61108 and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. To
