Anne G. Hawkins

Anne G. Hawkins, 85 (1/2), passed away on January 10, 2024. She was born on August 14, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Carl and Margaret (Grant) Giesecke. Anne married Lionel Hawkins Jr. on June 29, 1958 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington DC. She worked as a homemaker. She was an avid New York Times crossword challenge seeker and a very creative solitaire player.

Anne is survived by her children, Lionel (Liz) Hawkins of Chicago, IL, John Hawkins of Lowell, MA, and Hollie (Tony) Miezio of Riverside, IL; grandchildren, Libbey and Sofia “Frankie” Hawkins, Margaret (Gus Guererro) Miezio, and Samantha (Kyle) Christenbery; and sister, Sue (Earl) Dittman. She is predeceased by her parents and husband, Lionel.

Memorial Services are scheduled for June 29, 2024, location and time to be announced.
