Arthur J. Polnow, Jr.

Arthur J. Polnow, Jr, 90, Rockford, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He was born June 20, 1931, in Woodstock, the son of Arthur J. and Martha (Markison) Polnow, Sr. Art was a veteran serving in the Navy during the Korean War. He married Barbara Gorman and she passed away on July 18, 2014. Art worked as a tool and die maker for Metz Tool and Die in Rockford for many years.
Survived by his daughter, Kim (Scott) Olson and a son and his wife; his grandchildren, Chase Rudsinski, Marshall Olson, Aja Olson, Katie Polnow and Austin Polnow; his great-granddaughters, Anniston Rudsinski and Jenna Olson; his cousin, Gary (Julie) Stone and their children, Kelsey, Lacie, and Jamie; his sister, Carol (Dick) Reinert of Woodstock and his brother, Bob (Bernice) Polnow of Belvidere. Predeceased by his wife, Barb and his parents.
