Barbara "Barb" Ann Foster

Barbara “Barb” Ann Foster, 72, of Rockford, IL, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019.

Barb was born in Savanna, IL on September 5, 1946, daughter of Joseph and Juanita (Huling) Sterbenz. She married Richard C. Foster Sr. on January 30, 1965 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Savanna, IL. Barb was a homemaker most of her life. She attended Riverside Assembly of God Church years ago. Barb loved listening to gospel music and spent most of her days praying. Most importantly, she took care of her husband and family. Barb will be dearly missed by many.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Richard; three children, Richard C. Foster Jr. of Haleyville, AL, Heidi (Terry) Kuehne of Appleton, WI and Kevin (Ellen) Foster of Fresno, CA; grandchildren, Alyssa, Kristina, Jesse, Hannah, Isaac, Sarah, Jennifer, Timothy, Cara, Brynn and Laney; numerous nieces and nephews; three sisters, Donna Petersen, Patricia Anderson and Verna Stage. She is predeceased by her parents and three siblings, Donald Sterbenz, Mary Fahlen and Juanita Jackson.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Riverside Assembly of God Church, 4242 W Riverside Blvd., Rockford, IL 61101. Burial will conclude at Highland Garden of Memories in Belvidere. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Barbara Foster for a memorial to be established.
