Barbara Jean Beale

Barbara Jane Beale 90 of Rockford passed away Thursday May 1, 2014 in her home. She was born July 15, 1923 in Rockford, the daughter of Frank and Cora Raup. She married Robert M. Beale on October 11, 1947 in Rockford. Robert predeceased her in 2009. Prior to her marriage she was employed at Atwood Machine , Throughout her life she spent many hours volunteering at her church, Wesley Willows and Bloom School. Barbara devoted herself to the care of her family, friends and neighbors. She was a member of Heartland Community Church.
Survivors include her three children, Mary Beale of Rockford, Robert C. (Ricky) Beale of Rockford and Anne (Kurt) Schaefer of Grand Rapids, MI, grandchildren Jeremy (Sarah) Beale of Rockford, Jennifer (Dan) Lyons of Lake in the Hills, Benjamin (Jane) Schaefer of Kalamazoo, MI and Elizabeth Schaefer of New York, NY, great grandchildren Taylor, Molly, Joshua Beale, Lydia and Luke Lyons, sister-in-law Norma Lee Beale of Madison, WI. nieces Ginny, Laura and Betsy. She was predeceased by her parents and by husband Robert M in 2009.
Memorial service at 11am Saturday May 3, 2014 in Heartland Community Church with Pastor Doug Thiesen officiating. Visitation from 10am until 10:45 Saturday in the church.
