Ben Coniglio

Ben Charles Coniglio, 68, of Rockford passed away January 17, 2017. Born January 12, 1949, the son of Sam and Mary (Lynch) Coniglio/Cornelius. Ben was a graduate of Boylan High School. He served as a member of the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Ben was employed by Grays IGA and Charles Street Certified as a butcher, retiring in 2014. He was a member of St. James Church in Rockford. Ben enjoyed going up north to gamble with the troops.
Survived by 2 daughters, Amy Gravitt of Loves Park and Wendy (Souresh) Banerjee of Loves Park; grandchildren, Haley, Samantha (Alex) Williams, Kyle, Tatem, Sasha, Seth and Autumn; brother, John (Betty) Coniglio of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Margery Alpiser of Loves Park, Mary Jane (Dave) Larsen of Rockford and Cathy (Manny) Pendola of Dallas, TX; uncle, Jake Coniglio of Rockford. Predeceased by his parents.
