Berlyn S. Mckelvey

Berlyn S. McKelvey, 79, of Rockford, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.nbsp; Born on August 15, 1931 in Ligonier, PA; daughter of Mary M. and Clarence Smith.nbsp; Married Clyde H. McKelvey in Winchester, VA on June 10, 1953 and celebrated their 58 th anniversary this year. She has been a resident of Rockford since 1972 after moving here from Latrobe, PA.nbsp; Berlyn retired from Sams Club in 2004.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde; daughter, Lynnette C. McKelvey; granddaughter, Carrie Ann Murphy; three great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Smith; special niece, Joyce Furtak and several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, brothers, Blaine, Clarence, James and sister, Betty.
Memorial Service will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory,nbsp; Mulford Chapel.nbsp; Family greeting from 3:00pm until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
