Billy D. Flowers, 56
Rockford-Billy D. Flowers, 56 passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Amberwood Care Centre, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born July 27, 1959, in Adel, GA, the son of Billy W. & Olive (Lane) Flowers, but was raised by Olive and Don Wilson. Billy work as a machinist for both Ingersoll, Crown Machines, and Eclipse throughout his life. He enjoyed weightlifting, gardening spending time outdoors, but most of all spending with family. Billy will be remember as a honest, hard-working, loyal, open minded, and always willing to learn new things.
Survivors include mother Olive (Don) Wilson; sons David Michael, Billy Lee and Matthew Edwards Flowers; brother David Earl Flowers of Georgia; sisters Barbara Porter of Rockford and Teresa Randall of Alabama. Special Aunt Dorris Huene and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandparents and father.
