Bobby Spatafora

Bobby G. Spatafora 58 of Rockford passed away Monday May 19, 2014 in St Anne Center after a long illness. He was born September 10, 1955 in East St Louis Illinois, the son of Sam and Jewell Spatafora. He married Nancy Richardson on October 22, 1999. Bobby worked for the City of Rockford Water Department for over 32 years, retiring in 2006. He was an avid Bears fan, loved Harleys, Poker Pool and Sporting events. Attended Auburn High School.
Survivors include his wife Nancy. Children, Rene Spatafora, Nick (Ashley) Pozzani, Tom (Tammy) Pozzani and Mandy (Mark) Hastings. Grandchildren, Lyam Gene Gray, Keagan, Declan Hastings, and Jessica Pozzani. Sister, Mary Ann (Robert) Reed. Brothers, Michael Spatafora, Gary (Kathy) Spatafora and Billie Spatafora. Best buddies, Harley and Sasha and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and brothers, Constantino and Dean.
Funeral services at 2pm Friday May 23, 2014 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 1860 S. Mulford Road. Visitation from 4pm until 8pm Thursday May 22 in the funeral home. Visitation also from 1:30 until service time Friday in the funeral home. Express online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
