Bradley Gene "Brad" Jacobsen

Bradley Gene "Brad" Jacobsen, 58, Rockford, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, WI, surrounded by his family. He was born December 28, 1954, in Webster Groves, MO, the son of Merril Gene and Marcella Jean (Harrison) Jacobsen. Brad married Virginia "Virg" Anderson in Wausau, WI on June 10, 1978. He was employed by Exelon Corporation at the nuclear power plant in Byron. Brad was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.
Survived by his wife of 35 years, Virg of Rockford; his son, Doug Jacobsen of Sharon, WI; his daughter, Abbi Jacobsen of Rockford; his parents, Merril and Marcella Jacobsen of Freeport; his sisters, Christine (Honorable Gary) Schmidt of Jefferson City, MO, Kathleen (Donald) Jensen of River Falls, WI, and his brother, Vernon (Marty) Jacobsen of Cedar Rapids, IA; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Visitation from 2:00 pm until time of service on Wednesday. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the family or to UW HC Transplant.
