Brent R. Stenberg

Brent Robert Stenberg, 40, formerly of Rockford, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014, in Fishers, IN. He was born April 20, 1973, in Rockford, the son of James and Kathryn (Lindell) Stenberg. Brent married Emily McClamroch. He worked as a sales representative for Bee Windows in Fishers. Brent was a lifelong member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. He was an accomplished musician and played with a number of bands in the Rockford area. He attended Bradley University and is a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Brent attained the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scout Troop # 425.
Survived by his wife, Emily of Zionsville, IN; his son, Liam Stenberg, his stepson, Behn McClamroch; his brother, Mark (Heidi) Stenberg of Bull Valley; his nephews, August and Anders Stenberg and his niece, Alexia Stenberg; his parents, Jim and Katy Stenberg of Belvidere; his father and mother-in-law, Mark and Kathy McClamroch; Liam's mother, Karissa; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his Godparents, Dale and Connie Gustafson. Predeceased by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 14, 2014, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 3300 Rural Street, Rockford, 61107, with Reverend Jeff Fricke officiating. Private family burial at a later date. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00P.M. Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church and again from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M., on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an educational fund for Liam, a music scholarship fund, in Brent's name, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, or Light the Night, 651 W.
