Brian R. Riedl

Brian R. Riedl, 56, of Rockford passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his wife and daughters on August 27, 2017. Born June 14, 1961 in Elgin, IL, the son of Shirley and Gordon Schultz. Graduated Larkin High School, class of 1979. Married Tami Robison in Elgin, on December 26, 1981. Brian worked as a project manager for Exelon Nuclear Energy. He enjoyed boating, music concerts and comedy shows but most of all spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include wife Tami; daughters Brieann Riedl and Kaley (Michael) Keedi, granddaughter Izabella Keedi; sister Deanne (Rich) Weigel; brothers Bruce Schultz, Warren (Lisa) Riedl, Steven Schultz and Paul (Trish) Schultz and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Brenda Gilmore. Celebration of Brian’s life will be held on Saturday, September 9th at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108.
