Byron C. Dale, 82, Rockford, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 29, 2026. He was born on October 1,1943, the son of Byron and Edna Mae (Lobdell) Dale. Byron was a longtime member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Byron was a great and loyal friend to many and always enjoyed their visits. Special thanks to his caregiver, Galena, and his many friends that would visit him each day during his illness. Byron was a man of infinite knowledge on many subjects and could enjoy a meaningful conversation with everyone he met. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, his brother and sister in-law, Brad and Mary Dale, and is circle of friends that meant so much to him.
