Carina A Dougherty

Carina Anne Dougherty, 33, Rockford, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 26, 2025. She was born in Rockford on January 20, 1992, the daughter of Michael K. Dougherty and Marianne (Darley) Dougherty. She was a lover of gardening, cooking, and dogs.

She survived by her parents, Michael and Marianne Dougherty; her brother, Thomas Dougherty; her son, John Powell-Martin; John's step-parents, Robert Martin and Joan Powell. She is preceded by her grandmother, Alice Dougherty; her grandfather, Frank Dougherty; her grandmother, Doris Darley; her grandfather, Walter Darley; and her uncles, Peter Dougherty, and Todd Emanuel.

A Memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. A visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
