Carole E. Bailey

Carole E. Bailey, 72, of Rockford passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Mercy Health. Born July 12, 1944, in Winnebago, the daughter of Lester and Ruth (Vanstone) Doran. Carole married Tommy Bailey in 1985. She ran a beauty shop for many years and later retired from Rockford Factory Supplies in 2006. Carole loved to travel and gamble.
Survived by her husband, Tommy; children, Carrie Zaffarano and Mark (Holly) Rothwell; step-children, Carla Baker and Greg Bailey; grandchildren, Valerie, Natalie, Quin, Caitlin, Alexis, Dalton, Johnathon, Andrew, Jenna, Leah and Josh; lots of great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents and brother, Thomas Doran.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 North Rockton Ave. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
