Catherine Van Liere

Catherine Van Liere, 63 of Rockton, died Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. She was born February 5, 1951 in Streator, the daughter of Donald and Jane (Lehman) Weber. Worked for over 30 years as a nurse practitioner. Catherine enjoyed cooking and entertaining for friends and family. She was a kind and caring woman who was loved by many, she will be missed dearly. Survivors include her husband, R. John Van Liere of Rockton; son, RJ Van Liere of Seattle; her parents; siblings, Tony (Boe) Weber of Joliet, John Weber of Cedar Rapids, IA, Margaret Weber of Dwight, Joe (Christine) Weber of Streator and Jeanne (Scott) McLeod of Albuquerque, NM and numerous nieces and nephews. At Catherine's request all services are private. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford chapel are assisting the family.
