Charlene A. Brown

Charlene A. Brown 87 of Rockford passed away Monday June 30, 2014 in her home. She was born February 22, 1928 in Rockford, the daughter of Jasper and Gert Giovingo. She married Richard H. Brown. Member of Woodside General Baptist. Graduate of West High School. Member of St Mary Good Time Club and was Vice-president of the board of Arlington Cemetery.
Survivors include her children, Russell (Sharon) Brown of Rockford and Beverly Thorne of Rockford. Grandchildren, Patrick Brown, Kenneth (April) Briggs and Christopher Carey. Great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Ashlynn, Jordan, Dominic, Brayton, Skyler, Clayton, Jacksen and Sam. Predeceased by her parents, husband Richard and grandsons, Andrew and Matthew. The family would like to thank OSF St Anthony Cancer Center and Heartland Hospice.
