Charles A. Piske

Charles Chuck Alan Piske, 55, of Belvidere, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in his home. nbsp;He was born January 25, 1956 in Rockford, IL, the son of Charles and Joyce Piske. nbsp;He married Betty (Smiley) Miller in Rockford on June 25, 1994. nbsp;He worked for Archway Sales for many years. nbsp;Member of Christ the Rock Lutheran Church. nbsp;Chuck graduated from Guilford High School in 1974 and Illinois State University in 1978.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; daughters, Alexa Lyn Piske and Olivia Leigh Miller; parents, Charles and Joyce Piske; two sisters, Cindy Gonzales and Debbie (Rock) Foster; motherinlaw, Vonnie Smiley; brotherinlaw, Jim (Deana) Smiley; sistersinlaw, Sue (Scott) Coleridge, Gracie (Bill) Ward, and Lou (Allen) Kirby. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, and faithful companion, his little dog, Issy.

Funeral service at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at Christ the Rock Lutheran Church, 8330 Newburg Road, Rockford, IL with Rev. David Meggers officiating. nbsp;Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. nbsp;Visitation is Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM in the church. nbsp;In lieu of flowers, memorials to Rockford Lutheran High School. nbsp;Arrangements completed by Fitzgerald Funeral Home 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
