Charles 'Bill' W. Drew

Charles W. 'Bill' Drew, 69, of Rockford, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 24, 2014 with the love of his life, Clarice by his side. Born in Kansas City, Missouri on April 16, 1945 to Matilda and William Drew. He moved to Rockford as a child with his mother, sister and step-father, Paul Norris. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge he returned to Rockford to become a machine operator and foreman for local machine shops.
Bill is survived by Clarice; sister, Irene (Larry) Adams, of Rockford; daughter, Patricia (Rob) Stone; sons, William (Bridgette) and Ronald, all from the Green Bay area; uncle, James Reuscher, of Kansas City, MO; niece, Denise Rux; nephews, Larry (Kina), Scott Adams; great-nephews and nieces, all of Rockford; several cousins. Bill is predeceased by his parents and several aunts and uncles. According to Bill's wishes there will be no services held. Cremation rites have been accorded.
