Clyde J. Bauer

Clyde J. Bauer, 88, Stillman Valley, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. He was born August 30, 1935, in Rockford, the son of Floyd and Oleva (Moyer) Bauer. He was a veteran serving in the Army. Clyde worked as a millwright for Sundstrand Corporation (now Collins Aerospace) for more than 30 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of the American Legion and the UAW Local 592.

Survived by his grandchildren, Felicia Bracy, Brandon Bauer, Jacob Bauer and Vanessa Vogler; his great-grandchildren, Martiqa and Triston Bracy, Chloe, Abey, Luke and Zackery Vogler and Jalynn Stephenson; his brothers, Floyd O, (Carol) Bauer and Bill Bauer; his sisters, Delores (Jim) Grevan, Carol (Dan) Goral, Evelyn Nelson and Sandra Zidarich; his sister-in-law, Ethel Bauer; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, his son, Randy in 2017; his brothers, Leonard and Kenneth; his sisters, Helen Campisi and Beverly Heckelsmiller.

Private family burial will take place later. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family.
