David R. Bradley

David Robert Bradley of Rockford, Illinois, passed away June 11, 2023, peacefully in his home surrounded by family at the age of 69.

Dave is survived by his former wife Elizabeth Bradley; his brothers John Bradley, Phil (Lees) Bradley, Paul Bradley, Scott (Kelly) Bradley; his sisters Sue Bradley, Chris (Charles Brown) Bradley, Ann (Jeff Opengo) Bradley; his daughter Annmarie Bradley; his grandchildren Nathaniel Bradley, Krista (Brenden) Jones, Draven Bradley & Jordon Nelson; great-grandchildren Levi Bradley, LilliAnne Jones & Mayson Bradley; as well as various nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Jackie Bradley; his brothers Mike & Tom Bradley; his nephews Joseph & Patrick Bradley & niece Amy Nash.

Dave was a quiet & gentle man that believed in family first & foremost. He loved doing jigsaw puzzles, watching auto races, drinking coffee & eating oranges & ice cream with his great-grandchildren.

Dave retired as a Sargent First Class from the US Army after 18 years of service.

Dave will be remembered on July 8, 2023, at 2:00PM CST, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home off of Mulford & Charles.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Cancer Society.
