Dayle McMullen

Dayle McMullen, 88, Rockford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in his home. He was born on April 28, 1937, in Neelyville, Missouri, the son of Everett M. and Minnie I. (Gayle) McMullen. He married Ruth Ann (Metz) McMullen on October 25, 1957, where they remained married for 52 years until her passing in 2009.

Dayle was always a first-rate gentleman. He was respected by everyone who knew him and was always treated well by all. He lived his whole life for his wife, sons, and grandchildren.

He worked at Rockford Products for 44 years and retired in 2001.

Dayle is survived by his sons, Dean E. (Cathy) McMullen, Shawn L. (Heidi) McMullen, and Scott A. (Cindy) McMullen; his grandchildren, Kyle (Callie) McMullen, Katie (Eric) Larsen, Kevin (Ashley) Stupka, Gayle (Brian) Roman, Erin McMullen, Brittany (Matt) Sullivan and Amanda McMullen; his great grandchildren, Hadley Ann, Everlee, Liam, James, Lucas, Kendall, Savannah, Mea, Maci, and Declan; and his nephew, Randy McMullen. He is preceded by his wife, Ruth Ann, his granddaughter, Megan McMullen, and his brother, James E. McMullen.
