Debra Jean Holman

Debra Jean Holman, 70, Rockford, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024. She was born on February 15, 1954, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Donald B. and Betty (Barix) Smith. She married Charles E. Holman on April 8, 1972, in Rockford where they raised their family. She loved to spend her time gardening, camping, campfires, and her dog. She also loved to crochet, read, and listen to classic rock.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; her daughter, Jacqueline (Jeff) Ames, their three children and one great grandchild; her son, Greg Holman, his four children and four great grandchildren. She is preceded by her brother, Jim Smith.

A visitation for Debra will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford IL, 61108. A Memorial service will take place on Friday, October 25, 2024, following the visitation at 11:00 a.m. at the Mulford Chapel. Cremation rites have been accorded.
