Diane K. Dermody, 63 Loving Wife, Mother and Grandma to be nbsp; Diane K. Dermody, 63 of Winnebago, died on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Rockford Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born October 19, 1943 in Rockford the daughter of Earl and Mildred (Packard) Peacock. Graduated from Rockford Memorial Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Married her loving husband of 43 years Harry Dermody at Court Street United Methodist Church in 1964. Diane was currently employed at Oral amp; Maxillofacial Surgery Specialists, Ltd for Dr. Albers and Dr. Francis where she has worked since 1989.nbsp; She was a faithful member of Faith Centernbsp; and was an active volunteer at Life Center on W. State St. Diane was a Rockford Memorial School of Nursing Alumni and enjoyed participating in the Birthday Club in the Burritt Community. She was also an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, yard work and swimming. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of Faith Centers community for all of their prayers, thoughts and kind words.nbsp; Survivors include her husband Harry of Winnebago; sons, Matthew (Dana) of Rockford and Mark (Nee) of Pecatonica; and one grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Michael on May 10, 1985. nbsp; Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Center, 4701 S. Main St., Rockford with Pastor Don Lyon officiating. Interment will be held in Willwood Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 6 from 6-8 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. and will continue on Wednesday at Faith Center from 9-9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family strongly encourages memorials be made to Life Center, 921 W.
