Doris Ann PilzakLoving Wife, Mother & GrandmotherDoris Ann Pilzak, 71, of Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in her home. Born June 8, 1941 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin; daughter of Joeseph and Lucille (Belongia) Duffek. Married Roger Pilzak on October 17, 1964 in Wisconsin. Doris worked for 25 years at P.A. Peterson until her retirement in 2005. She was an avid reader and loved to knit and crochet. Doris enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows. Survivors include her husband, Roger; daughter, Karen Anderson; grandson, Alexander Anderson; niece, Michelle; brotherinlaw, Justin (David) McKinney. Predeceased by her parents and sister, Donna McKinney.Memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, with Reverend Dr. Herbert Allen III officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
