Eugene W. "Gino" Timm

Eugene W. "Gino" Timm, 62, of Rockford passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 in his home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born June 13, 1952, in Rockford, the son of Herman and Leona Timm. Graduated from Rockford East High School, Class of 1970. Eugene was in the Army National Guard and was discharged honorably on October 14, 1977. He worked for Lask Roofing for 20+ years and more recently worked for Midwest Seamless Gutters and Siding, retiring this year. Eugene was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, a Corvette lover, loved to golf and was known for his stories. He will be greatly missed.

Lovingly survived by his children, Megan (Greg) Green and Sean (Andrea) Timm; mother of his children and friend, Joyce Lask; brother, Gregg (Linda) Timm and their children, Scott and Angela Timm; cousin and honorary brother, Rick and Lisa Conner and their family; god son, Zachary Conner and cousins, Deb and Jay Alms and family. Gino was loved by many, he is also survived by numerous friends and family. Predeceased by his parents, Leona and Herman Timm, cousin, Linda Conner and numerous aunts and uncles.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 North Rockton Avenue.
