Eva Jane Pipitone

Eva J. (Vince) Pipitone 93 of Rockford passed away Sunday May 4, 2014 in Morning Star Village. She was born May 13, 1920 in Rockford, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Markise) Vince. She married Frank Pipitone in Rockford on September 9, 1945. Frank predeceased her in 1989. Eva worked in a lot of different department stores including; DJ Stewarts, Three Sisters and Lillian's. She retired in 1999. Member of St Bernadette Church. Eva also volunteered for over 25 years at the Rockford Memorial Hospital Thrift Shop.
Survivors include her two children, Frank (Jo) Pipitone of Gold Canyon, AZ and Nancy (Barry) Giardini of Roscoe. Grandchildren, Frank (Beth) Pipitone, Teri (Dan) Bergtholdt, Carson and Spencer Giardini and Lindsay Hogan. Great grandchildren, Jack, Riley and Cooper Bergtholdt and Megan, Lauren and Catherine Pipitone. Sister, Mary Bilardello of Loves Park. Brother, Joe (Joan) Vince of Henderson, NV. Predeceased by her parents, husband Frank and sister Annabelle. Special thanks to Wendy Slick Davidson for her extra care and friendship.
