Evelyn M. Ryan, 84 of Rockford, died Wed. April 18, 2012 in her home. Born January 10, 1928 in Chicago the daughter of James and Hazel Eckstein. Survivors include her son, Larry (Kay) Piemonte of Carol Stream; daughter, Linda (Mark) Upton of Evanston; grandchildren, Evan and Phillip Piemonte and great grandchild, Seiryu Piemonte. Preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Gerard Piemonte in 1973 and her second husband, Paul Ryan in 2011. All services will be private. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel is assisting the family.
