From watching war and history movies to cheering on the Chicago Bears and the Chicago White Sox, he had a deep passion for sports and entertainment. Golfing and bowling in his early years, and spending quality time with loved ones were among his favorite pastimes. Frank and Sara enjoyed sitting on the front porch counting cars and yelling at the trucks that drove down the street. Frank was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and held memberships in the Venetian Club and St. Ambrose Club. He found solace in faith and community throughout his life.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Diana) Martorana ; daughters, Mary Jo (Mike) Pyzynski and Julie (Horace) McGough; grandchildren, Gina (Rob) Tucker, Jami (Nick) Doyle, Stephanie (Rob) Roccaforte, Angela Pyzynski, and Joseph Pyzynski; five great-grandchildren; sister, Florence Kline; and numerous nieces and nephews.
