Gary B. Knouse

Gary B. Knouse, 75, of Rockford, passed away May 1, 2019 at P.A. Peterson at Citadel. Born April 4, 1944 in Monroe, WI, the son of Benjamin & Marie (Kraus) Knouse. Married Ronda DeVoe in Monroe, WI at St. Victor’s Church on May 21, 1966. He worked for Muller-Pinehurst Dairy for over 42 years, retiring in May of 2014. He was known for his strong work ethic.
Gary was a Green Bay Packer fan way before they were World Champion. He enjoyed his limo trips with friends to see the Chicago Cubs play, euchre games at home, waxing cars, and doing his lawn, which was known as the “Gem of the Neighborhood”.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years; sister Pamela Miller of Plant City, FL; brother Brent F. Knouse of Burr Ridge, IL; in-laws Bill Golackson, Dennis Golackson and Marcia Lotz. Predeceased by parents; daughter, Kathryn Knouse and brother, Terry Knouse.
