Helen F. Christie

Helen F. Christie, 86 of Rockford died April 13, 2014 at Rosewood Care Center. She was born April 30, 1927 in New York City the daughter of Carl and Florence Carlsen. Worked as a CNA for almost 30 years in Massachusetts. She was an avid reader and loved watching the Sci-Fi channel. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt and sincere thank you to all of the staff members at Rosewood for their kind and compassionate care. Survivors include her brothers, Paul (Barb) Calrsen of Rockford and Raymond (Joan) Carlsen of Meredith, NH and sister, Mary Woodard of Methuen, Mass and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John and Karl. At Helen's request all services are private and cremation rites have been accorded by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford chapel.
