Irmgard M. Larson

Irmgard Larson, 87, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Born October 17, 1937 in Germany. Daughter of Elsa and Johan Lange.

Married Arnold Larson on July 20, 1962 in Iowa. She worked at Barber Coleman, several greenhouses, enjoyed babysitting her grandkids, nieces and nephews and was a homemaker. She also loved working in the garden and her flower beds.

Survivors include her children, Crystal (Richard) Smyth, Heidi (Christopher) Usrey and Paul (Candy) Larson; grandchildren, Katrina (Timothy) Wier, Kelsey (Alex) Arntzen, Heather (Brandon) Schrader, Hayley Usrey, Brandon (Britney) Larson and Courtney (Graham) Rademaker; several great-grandchildren; sister, Edith Stone; brother, Johan Lange and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Arnold Larson; brothers, Helmut, Willie, Heinz, Erwin, Kurt and sister, Erika Terviel.

A Celebration of Life will be held July 6, 2025. Please contact the family for further information if needed.
